Trend Micro Cloud One

We're happy to announce that Trend Micro Deep Security as Service is becoming Trend Micro Cloud One™ - Workload Security, a service within the Trend Micro Cloud One platform. Trend Micro Cloud One delivers an all-in-one security services platform for cloud builders. The following services will be introduced in Cloud One during 2020:

Trend Micro Cloud One - Workload Security is now available at https://cloudone.trendmicro.com. Additional Cloud One services are available in preview.

How will this affect existing Deep Security as a Service customers?

Deep Security as a Service will become Trend Micro Cloud One - Workload Security and integrated into the Cloud One platform.

The transition for existing Deep Security as a Service customers will be seamless when it comes to functionality used to protect your workloads. There is no action required on your part to ensure protection remains in place during this transition.

Visually, you will start see naming changes in the web console and product documentation as this transition takes place. You will also see these naming changes in any support cases that are raised from Deep Security as a Service and the Business Support Portal.

The current planned changes are as follows:

  • Beginning March 30th 2020, customers who create a new account or request a password reset from Deep Security as a Service will receive a link that directs them to the Cloud One management console. However, we will continue to provide access to Deep Security as a Service at https://app.deepsecurity.trendmicro.com.
  • Beginning May 1st 2020, the sender email address for Deep Security as a Service will change from deepsecurityasaservice@trendmicro.com to no-reply-cloudone@trendmicro.com. If you use spam filters or email routing rules, please update them to include this new email address.

Will this affect my compliance status?

Deep Security as a Service compliance attestations are currently noted in the Deep Security Trust Center.

Workload Security will share the same compliance status as Deep Security as a Service, and you can expect no impacts to compliance through this transition.

I'm using BYOL licensing with Deep Security as a Service. What action do I need to take?

Deep Security as a Service licenses will transition to licenses for Trend Micro Cloud One - Workload Security. You are not required to update or purchase a new license.

Other Cloud One services are sold separately from Workload Security and will require the purchase of a separate subscription.

I'm being billed through AWS Marketplace. What action do I need to take?

Currently, Trend Micro offers multiple listings for Deep Security Software and Deep Security as a Service on AWS Marketplace:

  • Deep Security as a Service: This listing will eventually transition into a Cloud One listing with access to all Cloud One services. As these services become integrated, you will be able to access and start using them at the listed price without additional manual sign-ups. If you are using Private Offers, you will be required to agree to an amended private offer in order to be billed at a discounted rate for new services only. Subscribers will be notified in advance of any changes coming to this listing. For assistance, please contact your Trend Micro representative or email aws@trendmicro.com.
  • Deep Security as a Service | Annual + Pay as You Go: There are no functional changes currently planned for this listing. You can continue using Deep Security as a Service at the agreed rate until the end of your contract term. You might see updated branding reflecting the transition to Cloud One - Workload Security. If you are subscribed to this listing and would like access to Trend Micro Cloud One, please contact your Trend Micro representative or email aws@trendmicro.com.
  • Deep Security AMI or Deep Security (BYOL): There will be no changes to this listing and no changes to your Deep Security software.

I'm being billed through Azure Marketplace. What action do I need to take?

Currently, Trend Micro offers a listing for Deep Security Software and a listing for Deep Security as a Service on Azure Marketplace.

  • Deep Security as a Service: This listing will eventually transition into a Cloud One listing. A new plan will be added with access to all Cloud One services, and customers on the new plan will be able to start using the Cloud One services at the listed price. Subscribers will be notified in advance of any changes coming to this listing. For assistance, please contact your Trend Micro representative or email azure@trendmicro.com.
  • Deep Security - Software: There will be no changes to this listing and no changes to your Deep Security software.
