How to migrate a Deep Security as a Service account from a seat subscription to AWS Marketplace billing

If you are currently using a seat subscription for your Deep Security as a Service, you can switch to AWS Marketplace billing. Your AWS account will be billed directly, letting you purchase protection without the need for a license or credit card. When you switch to AWS Marketplace billing, you can choose from either a Pay as you Go or an Annual subscription. A Pay as you Go subscription only bills you for the hours your computers are protected, while an Annual subscription offers discounted rates when you pre-purchase per-computer protection for a 1 month, 1 year, 2 year or 3 year term. You can make this switch to AWS Marketplace billing by updating your license type in the Deep Security Manager.

First, you will need to upgrade to a paid account, and then choose your subscription type.

Upgrade to a paid account

  1. Log in to Deep Security as a Service.
  2. At the top of the page, click your account name (as shown below) and select Account Details.account-name
