Buy Deep Security as a Service

You can pay for Deep Security as a Service using one of these options:

If you are currently using a free trial, you can upgrade to the paid version of Deep Security as a Service with one of the above payment options directly in the Deep Security Manager.

Once you upgrade to the paid version of Deep Security as a Service, your free trial period will end automatically.

AWS Marketplace billing subscription

You can subscribe to Deep Security as a Service and have it billed directly to your AWS account, letting you purchase protection without the need for a license or credit card. When you subscribe to Deep Security as a Service through the AWS Marketplace, you can choose from either a Pay as you Go or an Annual subscription. A Pay as you Go subscription only bills you for the hours your computers are protected, while an Annual subscription offers discounted rates when you pre-purchase per-computer protection for a 1 month, 1 year, 2 year or 3 year term.

How you subscribe to AWS Marketplace billing depends on whether you have an existing Deep Security as a Service account and which subscription type you want to use. See:

If you already have a Deep Security as a Service trial account

First, you will need to upgrade to a paid account, and then choose your subscription type.

Upgrade to a paid account

  1. Log in to Deep Security as a Service.
  2. At the top of the page, click your account name (as shown below) and select Account Details.account-name
  3. Click Upgrade to Paid.
  4. Click Subscribe through AWS Marketplace.

    By default, you will be brought to the AWS Marketplace page for a Pay as you Go subscription. For an Annual subscription, follow the steps provided below.

Subscribe to Deep Security as a Service - Pay as you Go

  1. Click Continue > Subscribe > Set Up Your Account.

    You will be brought to the Deep Security Dashboard. Your subscription is now active.

Subscribe to Deep Security as a Service - Annual

  1. Go to the Deep Security as a Service - Annual Marketplace page.
  2. Click Continue.
  3. Enter the number of instances to protect.
  4. Select the contract term to protect your instances for and whether to automatically renew the contract at term end.
  5. Click Create Contract.

    You will be brought to the Deep Security Dashboard. Your subscription is now active.

If you do not have a Deep Security as a Service account

Subscribe to Deep Security as a Service - Pay as you Go

  1. Go to the Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service - Pay as you Go Marketplace page.
  2. Click Continue > Subscribe > Set Up Your Account.
  3. You will be brought to the Deep Security as a Service account creation page. Fill out the form and click Sign Up.
  4. You will receive an account confirmation email. Click the account activation link in the email.
  5. Sign in to Deep Security as a Service using the company or account name and user name specified in the account confirmation email.

    Your subscription is now active.

Subscribe to Deep Security as a Service - Annual

  1. Go to the Deep Security as a Service - Annual Marketplace page.
  2. Click Continue.
  3. Enter the number of instances to protect.
  4. Select the contract term to protect your instances for and whether to automatically renew the contract at term end.
  5. Click Create Contract.
  6. You will be brought to the Deep Security as a Service account creation page.
  7. You will receive an account confirmation email. Click the account activation link in the email.
  8. Sign in to Deep Security as a Service using the company or account name and user name specified in the account confirmation email.

    Your subscription is now active.

Troubleshooting

If you successfully subscribed to Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service on the AWS Marketplace but were unable to complete the Deep Security as a Service software setup process, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your AWS Marketplace account.
  2. Click Your Software.
  3. Under the Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service product, click Configure Software.
  4. Click click here.AWS DSaaS signup

Prepaid credit

Prepaid credit for Deep Security as a Service protection of your computers works just like prepaid phone credit. You prepay for your service and we deduct in real time what you've used. Using prepaid credit allows you to buy in advance enough credit to cover your usage for several months or a year at a time. Prepaid is a good way to manage spending and simplify purchasing.

Purchase

Commit to use Deep Security as a Service for one year and save up to 30% (for largest instance sizes).

Contact aws@trendmicro.com and we’ll connect you to someone in your region who can help you purchase prepaid credit and give you an activation code.

Once you've received an activation code, you can activate your prepaid credit as follows:

  1. Click your account name and select Account Details.
  2. Click Upgrade to Paid.
  3. Enter your activation code and then click Enter an Activation Code.

Credit card subscription

Pay for your protection hours monthly on your credit card, with no commitment or minimum fees. Usage charges apply only for the hours your computers are protected for, and are applied monthly to your credit card.

Subscribe

  1. Click your account name and select Account Details.
  2. Click Upgrade to Paid.
  3. Click Buy a Subscription.
